According to the statement released early in the evening by the PNH, the CIMO, BRI, Task Force, UDMO, and SWAT units were positioned in Cazeau, Carrefour Drouillard, Terre Noire, and other sensitive areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The objective is to strengthen police presence, secure the areas, and limit the movements of terrorist gangs seeking to destabilize the area,” the PNH states in the statement.”Law enforcement forces are working to allow displaced persons to return to their homes safely.
