This distinction, intended for artists, writers, and media professionals in Haiti, reflects the government’s desire to pay well-deserved tribute to Haitian personalities who have shaped national life and to reward excellence in all sectors of social and cultural life in our country.Twenty-four hours after the official announcement of the awards intended to honor the professionals, actors, or operators who will be selected for their commitment and talent, the Minister of Culture and Communication, Emmanuel M\u00e9nard, provided clarifications on the meaning and relevance of this decision made by the government led by Mr. Alix Didier Fils-Aim\u00e9.
