According to him, &#8220;the development of the Northeast must be based on a shared vision where entrepreneurs, producers, and authorities work together to create real economic opportunities.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The head of the NECCI emphasized the need to encourage productive investments and support entrepreneurial initiatives that can generate growth in the local economy. He believes that strengthening existing businesses, creating new economic activities, and leveraging the region&#8217;s resources are key levers to increase regional wealth and improve the living conditions of the population.Diony Pierre also called for better collaboration between different economic players to build a business-friendly environment that supports innovation and the creation of sustainable jobs in the Northeast.Former Agriculture Minister Joanas Gu\u00e9 among the participants at the CCI-NE Buffet<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Former minister Joanas Gu\u00e9, for his part, outlined an overview of the many resources available in the Northeast. He spoke about the agricultural, energy, and ecological potential of the region, while emphasizing the importance of its natural resources for sustainable development. &#8220;The Northeast has the necessary assets to become a real engine of national production,&#8221; he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The former head of MARNDR also stressed the strategic importance of the sea in regional economic development. He specifically mentioned the potential of Caracol Bay for marine salt production, noting that this sector could help reduce the country&#8217;s reliance on imports. He encouraged investors and authorities to further support national production to make the most of local resources.Addressing the issue of infrastructure, Joanas Gu\u00e9 pointed out that improving the road network remains an essential condition for economic development. According to him, well-maintained roads would make it easier to transport agricultural products, strengthen trade, and promote the integration of the various communities in the department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The former minister also emphasized education as a lever for social and economic transformation. He called for a reform of educational approaches to better prepare citizens for development challenges. &#8220;No sustainable progress is possible without a trained population, aware of its responsibilities and capable of innovating,&#8221; he argued.This meeting allowed participants to discuss several issues related to the economic future of the Northeast.
