The head of government mentioned gradually strengthening the capacities of security forces, improving institutional coordination, and mobilizing the necessary resources to fight insecurity. The talks also addressed the need to create a favorable environment for holding free, credible, inclusive, and secure elections. For the authorities, returning to constitutional order remains one of the priorities of the ongoing transition. The participants also highlighted the importance of promoting social cohesion in a context marked by violence, population displacement, and institutional fractures.According to the government, national reconciliation will need to rely on an inclusive dialogue involving all of the country&#8217;s religious, cultural, and social perspectives.Vodou sector representatives said they\u2019re willing to help out with peace efforts, social mediation, and raising community awareness. They also confirmed they\u2019re ready to work with other national players to promote getting along and mutual respect in communities. The talks also stressed the importance of keeping victims of violence at the heart of social rebuilding and peace initiatives. By the end of the meeting, both sides agreed to set up a follow-up system to keep the dialogue going and make it easier to put the discussed recommendations into action.
