Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aim\u00e9 paid tribute on Tuesday to Haitian civil servants during the celebration of World Public Service Day organized at the Montana Hotel by the Office of Management and Human Resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under the theme “Proud to Serve: Let’s Build the Public Administration of Tomorrow Starting Today,” the ceremony brought together several government officials, diplomatic representatives, public administration executives, as well as various national personalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his speech, the OMRH General Coordinator, Madelain Fils-Aim\u00e9, highlighted the efforts being made to modernize public administration and improve the quality of services provided to the population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also praised the dedication of public servants who continue to keep the state running despite the security, economic, and institutional challenges the country faces.Speaking in front of the audience, Alix Didier Fils-Aim\u00e9 expressed his gratitude to the women and men who serve daily in the Haitian public administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the head of government, civil servants are the backbone of how institutions operate and play a key role in ensuring the continuity of essential services for the population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“There\u2019s no greater honor than serving your country!” said the Prime Minister, reminding everyone that public service is one of the foundations of the State\u2019s work.The head of the government emphasized the need to further recognize the work of public officials and to strengthen the capacities of the administration to respond more effectively to citizens’ expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the authorities, modernizing the public service remains a key task in the state’s reform efforts and in improving governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The celebration also served as a reminder of the importance of a more efficient, transparent, and citizen-focused administration.Through this commemoration, the government aims to promote a culture of public service based on competence, responsibility, and commitment to the public interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
