The song celebrates Haiti’s historic return to the World Cup after more than five decades of absence.

Haitian artist Leicka Paul has unveiled her new track “Kale Yo,” in collaboration with Eddy François, an emblematic figure of Haitian roots music.

Available since the beginning of May 2026, this song presents itself as an anthem of support for the Haitian national football team, the Haiti Football Team, engaged in preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Through the chorus “Kale yo, kole yo,” the artists invite Haitians living in the country and in the diaspora to rally around the Grenadiers, whose participation in the World Cup marks a historic return after 52 years of absence.

The track brings together two musical generations: Eddy François, considered one of the major voices of engaged Haitian music, and Leicka Paul, representing a new generation of female artists.According to available information, “Kale Yo” was co-written by Eddy François and Leicka Paul with the participation of Olivier Jimmy and Ti Regi.

The musical production was signed by Ohsound Studio, while the mixing and mastering were done by Ti Regi at High Quality Studio.

The song also reflects on Haiti’s first participation in a World Cup in 1974 and highlights themes related to national pride, unity, and perseverance.

Since its release, the song has seen strong circulation on social networks and digital platforms, accompanied by its official music video.
