The appointment of these new magistrates strengthens the Haitian judicial system, which has been facing for several years a glaring shortage of judges capable of effectively ensuring this essential public serviceIn the eyes of the president of the CSPJ and the Court of Cassation, Jean-Joseph Lebrun, this ceremony has a double significance. According to him, it marks the culmination of a path of excellence for certain judges and, for others, a crucial stage in their professional careers.

President Lebrun took the opportunity to extend his warmest congratulations to the Prime Minister as well as to the members of the government, particularly to the Minister of Justice and Public Security, for proceeding with the signing of these 120 commissions..
