The affected airports are located mainly in the coffee tourist region and in the Choco department, situated on the Pacific coast. “Damage has been reported at the airports of Pereira, Manizales, Quibdo, Armenia, Cartago, and Buenaventura,” and “as a safety measure, flight operations at these terminals remain suspended until the structural damage has been assessed.”
