Trump says to extend the ceasefire with Iran until further notice

Donald Trump announced on Tuesday the extension of the ceasefire with Iran in order to give Tehran more time to negotiate, while maintaining the blockade of Iranian ports.

Donald Trump a annoncé mardi la prolongation du cessez-le-feu avec l’Iran afin de donner plus de temps à Téhéran pour négocier, tout en maintenant le blocus des ports iraniens.

S’exprimant sur sa plateforme Truth Social, le président américain a annoncé avoir décidé de “prolonger le cessez-le-feu” jusqu’à “ce que l’Iran présente une proposition visant à mettre fin au conflit”. Il a toutefois “ordonné à nos forces armées de maintenir le blocus”.
