Less than a month before the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Haitian national team is actively continuing its preparation. A guest on the show Panel Magik on Magik9 on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, Carlo Marcelin, a member of the Haitian Football Federation (FHF), provided several details about the Grenadiers’ next two friendly matches, the training camp, the expected new reinforcements, as well as the mobilization of the Haitian community ahead of the major global event. The Haitian national team will play two important friendly matches at the beginning of June. The Grenadiers will first face Peru on June 2 before going up against New Zealand on June 5. According to Carlo Marcelin, these two games were carefully selected as part of a structured program put in place by the Federation and national coach Sebastien Migné in order to prepare the team for the demands of the World Cup.”All teams qualified for the World Cup try to maximize their preparation. Within the Federation, we had worked with the coach on a structured plan to allow us to prepare well before approaching the competition,” he explained.
