After a remarkably successful season with OL Lyonnes, Melchie Dumornay was crowned best player of the Arkema First League at the 2026 UNFP Awards.

The 34th UNFP Trophies ceremony was held on Monday, May 11, 2026, at the Palais Brongniart in Paris. Decisive with OL Lyon this season, Melchie Dumornay was crowned the best player of the Arkema First League. An award that confirms her steady rise to the top level of women’s football.

Already nominated the previous year, the Grenadier stood out against high competition, notably her teammate Tabitha Chawinga as well as the Parisian players Sakina Karchaoui, Romée Leuchter, and Clara Matéo. Although she scored only 4 goals and provided 7 assists in the league, it was especially in the big matches that she made the difference.
