FOR THESE REASONS, The Court, after examination and hearing the Public Prosecutor, upholds the default judgment granted against the defendant at the aforementioned hearing, and declares the said action well-founded. Consequently, the Court grants the divorce of Mrs. FRISNEL DAMICE, née CARLINE TILAIN, from her husband on the grounds of serious and public insults attributable to the husband. The Court pronounces the dissolution of the marriage between the said spouses; ORDERS the Registrar of Civil Status of the Eastern Section of Port-au-Prince to transcribe the operative part of this judgment in the registers kept for this purpose, an extract of which shall be published in one of the daily newspapers published in the capital, under penalty of damages to third parties if necessary. The Court appoints Bailiff EMMANUEL JEAN of this court to serve this judgment; and awards costs. SO JUDGE AND PRONOUNCED by us, NELSON CILIUS, Judge, in ordinary and public civil court on Thursday, March 12, 2026, sitting immediately, in the presence of Mr. ELYSÉE FÉNELON, Deputy Government Commissioner for this jurisdiction, and with the assistance of Mr. MOZART TASSY, Clerk of the Court. Signed: NELSON CILIUS and MOZART TASSY. Mr. Sergot Oreste, attorney
