The Haitian government, the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), and representatives of political parties met on Friday, June 19, 2026, to assess the progress of the electoral process. At the end of the meeting, participants reaffirmed their shared commitment to organizing, as soon as possible, free, credible, transparent, and inclusive elections, according to a note from the Prime Minister’s office. On this occasion, the government promised to provide the CEP with the necessary resources to carry out its mission. Meanwhile, the political parties expressed “their willingness to support the process in a spirit of dialogue, responsibility, and national interest.”
