Donald Trump will hand over the World Cup trophy to the winner at the end of the final, which will take place on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, near New York, FIFA announced to AFP on Tuesday.
The President of the United States, main co-host of the 2026 World Cup, will make this symbolic gesture together with FIFA president Gianni Infantino.
