The Ministry of Tourism and the National Directorate of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DINEPA) have launched a cooperation aimed at improving access to drinking water in the country’s tourist hubs and heritage sites.

The Ministry of Tourism and the National Directorate of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DINEPA) have launched a cooperation aimed at improving access to drinking water in the country’s tourist hubs and heritage sites. Tourism Minister Stéphanie Smith and DINEPA Director General Théophil Ostinvil have set up a collaboration framework to ensure sustainable supply, particularly in Jacmel and the Grand North, according to a ministry note. Technical studies are also underway for the cultural sites of Souvenance, Soukri, and Badjo, the note says.
