A total of 1,192 new police officers, including 238 women, have joined the ranks of the National Police of Haiti (PNH). The graduation ceremony of the 2nd cohort of the P4000+ program, attended by Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, was held on Friday, May 29, 2026. In his speech, the head of government called for a “zero tolerance” policy against armed groups, the restoration of security across the territory, and the continuation of efforts for institutional stabilization.
