Colombia, absent in Qatar in 2022, perfectly negotiated their return to the World Cup on Wednesday night in Mexico by logically winning 3-1 against Uzbekistan, for whom it was their first match in a World Cup.

Led by Luis Diaz, who scored and provided an assist, the Cafeteros take the top spot in Group K with three points, benefiting from Portugal’s underperformance, who could only manage a 1-1 draw against the Democratic Republic of Congo.
