A new report from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) says that around 5,840 people, or 1,836 households, have been forced to flee their homes. These massive population movements follow attacks by armed gangs that took place during the night of July 4 to 5, 2026, in the towns of Téléco, Le Refuge, and Viard, located in the 1st communal section of Nouvelle Touraine, in the commune of Kenscoff (West).
