Iran’s Revolutionary Guards announced on Wednesday that the Strait of Hormuz would remain closed until the end of the ‘American acts of aggression’ and threatened to lock down other strategic export routes, in a statement broadcast by Iranian state television.

Washington launched a new series of strikes against Iran on Tuesday and resumed blocking its ports. ‘The fighters’ retaliatory operations will continue, and the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until the United States ends its acts of aggression,’ said the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

‘The enemy (…) should also expect the closure of other oil and gas export routes that serve the interests of the United States and its allies,’ they added.”The region’s oil and gas exports will be available either to everyone or to no one,” they added.
