Haitian theologian and author Kelly Baldé will showcase six of his books, with signings and a 10% discount, at the book fair at the Delmas City Hall.

Dr. Kelly Baldé, a theologian, researcher, pastor, and Haitian author from Lascahobas, will be taking part in ‘Vacances en Livres,’ one of the summer’s literary events, scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Delmas Municipal Palace from 9 AM to 7 PM. The announcement was made in a press release on August 6.

At this event, the public will have the chance to meet the author, chat with him about his journey and research work, attend presentations of his books, and get signed copies of books purchased on site.Six titles will be highlighted: New Birth, New Life (Volume I and Volume II), Saved by Faith & Living by Faith, The Work of the Holy Spirit in, through, and for Man, Christian Doctrine Facing Obstacles to Evangelization, as well as a Collection of Messages to Build a Triumphant Christian Life. These works cover a variety of themes, ranging from spiritual growth to the action of the Holy Spirit, and addressing the contemporary challenges of evangelization in the Haitian context.

All the books on display will benefit from a special 10% discount, valid only this Saturday. The prices range from 1,500 to 2,500 gourdes depending on the titles.

Dr. Baldé spoke about his motivation for participating in the event, stating that each book is intended as an invitation to reflection and growth in faith, and that he is looking forward to engaging directly with readers on this occasion.Author of more than thirty books, booklets, and brochures dedicated to theology and Christian life, Dr. Baldé has several decades of experience in pastoral ministry, higher education, and research. His work, marked by academic rigor and pastoral experience, is grounded in an understanding of Haitian social realities.

The organizers are inviting media representatives, heads of educational institutions, church leaders, theology students, and the general public to meet him during this day dedicated to books and reflection.
