Singer and producer Carole Demesmin will present, on August 15, 2026, at the Ziff Ballet Opera House of the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami, Ayiti Bèl Nanm, a major artistic showcase dedicated to Haitian identity and heritage. In an interview with Nouvelliste, she describes this show as much more than a cultural event: a gesture of memory, transmission, and love for Haiti. Bringing together artists from several generations, Ayiti Bèl Nanm will blend music, dance, theater, poetry, and visual technologies. Carole Demesmin highlights especially the role of roots rhythms, traditional music, and Kreyòl jazz, as well as the work of several Haitian creators. Dance, under the direction of choreographer Linda François, will also hold a central place. An interview to read tonight in your newspaper.
