At the DNL, the signature sale of Sparks of Darkness brought together authors and readers, followed by a conference on the essential role of literature in Haiti.
The National Book Directorate (DNL) hosted a major literary event: the book signing of the collective collection Sparks of Darkness and Other Short Stories, organized by Mois d’Encre and Littéra. Bringing together young authors around a writing project that began several months earlier, this initiative attracted a large audience, eager to meet the writers and explore their worlds. Following this activity, an outdoor conference enriched the day, providing a space for reflection on ‘The Role of Literature in Haitian Society’.
