At the DNL, the Sparks of Darkness signing drew together authors and readers, followed by a conference on literature’s essential role in Haiti.
The National Book Directorate (DNL) presented a significant literary occasion: the signing ceremony for Sparks of Darkness and Other Short Stories, a volume curated by Mois d’Encre and Littéra. It gathered emerging writers around a project started several months earlier, drawing a sizable audience eager to meet the authors and discover their worlds. After this, an outdoor symposium added depth to the day, opening a space to consider ‘The Role of Literature in Haitian Society’.
