The Ministry of the Interior and Local Authorities (MICT) organized, on May 4 and 5, 2026, in its offices in Delmas 60, a training workshop for newly appointed executive officers of the Western Department. This workshop aims to enable mayors to gain better mastery of local management tools and to carry out their duties more effectively, emphasizes the MICT. The session was officially opened by the Secretary of State for Local Authorities, Sharina Lochard, accompanied by the Director of Local Authorities, Mallew Étienne, on behalf of Minister Paul Antoine Bien-Aimé.
