Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé is pleased with the verdict pronounced against the conspirators involved in the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse and hopes that the Haitian justice system will move faster and be able to convict those responsible for this act as is the case in the USA.

Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé welcomes the verdict handed down against conspirators involved in the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse and hopes that the Haitian justice system moves faster and is able to convict those responsible for this act, as is the case in the USA.

“I did not follow the trial closely, but I followed it. It is extremely good that President Moïse finds justice. There are trials that must also be held in Haiti because an assassinated president in his own country is unacceptable,” PM Fils-Aimé told Le Nouvelliste.“I wish that the Haitian justice system moves as quickly as possible so that if there are guilty parties in Haiti, they are sentenced as is done in the USA. I am aware that there is an investigation that is still not completed. I discussed this with the Minister of Justice,” continued PM Fils-Aimé, who says he is following things without interfering in the affairs of the judiciary, which is an independent power.
