The holder of the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation (MPCE), Dr. Sandra Paulémon, held a working session on Monday, May 11, 2026, with the Director General of Civil Protection (DGPC), Mr. Emmanuel Pierre, as part of preparations related to the cyclone season. She was accompanied by her chief of staff, Mr. Paul Ruddy Mentor, as well as the Director of Public Investments, Mr. Frantz Bastie. This meeting aimed to strengthen mechanisms for prevention, preparation, and response to natural hazards, in order to better protect vulnerable populations during the cyclone period.
