The Minister of Public Works, Joseph Almathe Pierre Louis, met on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, with the leaders of several major companies located in Tabarre (Barbancourt, Comme Il Faut, Séjourné, Brasserie de la Couronne, ECEM, E‑Power) to discuss the security crisis and the infrastructure that paralyzes their activities. The MTPTC presented the ongoing projects and announced an interministerial meeting to address the joint challenges of mobility and security, reaffirming its commitment to rehabilitate strategic roads to support investment, it said in a statement.
