Southeast: two alleged gang members arrested in Bainet

Mario Hilaire and Rony Alexis were apprehended by the National Police of Haiti during an operation carried out on the night of May 11 to 12, 2026, in Moreau, a locality of the Bainet commune (Southeast). The intervention followed alerts about the presence of armed individuals linked to the gang ‘Gran Ravin’ in the said locality. The two suspects were taken into custody for investigation, according to the PNH.
