The White House on Wednesday called a draft agreement reported by Iranian state television a “total fabrication,” according to which the United States had agreed to lift its naval blockade.
“This information from Iranian state media is not true, and the draft framework agreement they ‘published’ is a total fabrication. No one should believe a word of what comes out of the Iranian state media,” the U.S. administration replied via one of its official accounts on X, Rapid Response 47.
