Haiti’s coach, Sébastien Migné, had mixed feelings after the 4-2 loss to Morocco on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, regretting the lack of points but praising his team’s response.
“I’m disappointed in terms of points, but I didn’t feel like my players gave up. I was afraid we would collapse after the third goal, but that didn’t happen. They were a reflection of the Haitian people who don’t give in. The boys represented Haiti proudly,” he said.
Migné also regretted not being able to earn any points, especially in the first match against Scotland (1-0), which would have been the country’s first ever in a World Cup finals.
