At least 164 people have been killed and nearly 1.

At least 164 people have been killed and nearly 1,000 injured in the double earthquake that hit Venezuela on Wednesday, according to a new provisional toll announced by interim President Delcy Rodriguez.

About thirty aftershocks have also occurred since the double earthquake, the leader added. The previous toll reported 32 deaths and 700 injuries.
