The Minister of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP), Dr. Vijonet Déméro, and the superintendent of the Methodist Church of Haiti, Pastor Gelin Rosamour, jointly signed on Friday, June 26, 2026, a memorandum of understanding regarding the nationalization of the Methodist School of Source‑à‑Philippe, located in the fourth communal section of Pointe‑à‑Raquettes.

The Minister of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP), Dr. Vijonet Déméro, and the Superintendent of the Methodist Church of Haiti, Pastor Gelin Rosamour, jointly signed a memorandum of understanding this Friday, June 26, 2026, regarding the nationalization of the Methodist School of Source‑à‑Philippe, located in the fourth communal section of Pointe‑à‑Raquettes. With this signing, MENFP will cover the school’s operating costs starting from the next academic year. The school will be included in the program for providing textbooks, teaching materials, and furniture. In addition, the ministry’s responsibilities include maintaining the facilities, evaluating administrative staff and teachers before they join the public service, and overseeing the teaching.
