The Haitian Football Federation wants to professionalize the job of player agents by aligning it with FIFA’s new standards.

The Haitian Football Federation has announced the upcoming launch of a training seminar aimed at forming the first national cohort of certified player agents in Haiti.

In a statement released on June 26, 2026, the federation explained that this initiative is part of its strategy to professionalize Haitian football and comply with FIFA’s new regulations regarding player agents.

According to the FHF, this training is intended to equip the country with professionals capable of supporting Haitian footballers in their career development while adhering to international standards.

The governing body of Haitian football emphasizes that this move also reflects a desire to strengthen governance and credibility in the sector.

Among the main objectives of the program are aligning national practices with FIFA regulations, protecting players, and strengthening the integrity of transfers.

The federation also wants to promote more transparency in financial operations, prevent abuses, and improve dispute resolution mechanisms related to contracts and transfers.

According to the FHF, player agents are playing an increasingly important role in modern football.

They help athletes negotiate contracts, handle transfers, deal with the legal aspects of their careers, and manage their relationships with clubs and various football institutions. The body believes that setting up a network of trained and recognized agents will allow Haitian players to get more professional support, especially when they join foreign leagues.

The seminar will be led by Durolguens St-Eloi, a FIFA-certified player agent and representative of the Haitian Football Federation. The FHF specifies that the training dates, participation criteria, and registration details will be communicated later.

Through this initiative, the federation aims to continue modernizing its organization and strengthen the entire Haitian football ecosystem.

For the FHF leaders, professionalizing agents is an additional step in developing national football and improving the support offered to Haitian players, both locally and internationally.
