Donald Trump threatened on Monday to take ‘appropriate action’ against the US central bank governor (Fed) Lisa Cook, after the Supreme Court blocked his firing by the US president.

Donald Trump threatened on Monday to take “appropriate action” against the governor of the U.S. central bank (Fed), Lisa Cook, after the Supreme Court blocked her dismissal by the U.S. president. In a post on his Truth Social network, the head of state didn’t specify what kind of action he planned to take, saying he just wanted to “make sure that someone who committed offenses couldn’t make crucial decisions.” He was referring to accusations of falsifying mortgage records, while Lisa Cook mentioned it was an honest mistake.
