The Minister of National Education, Dr. Vijonet DÉMÉRO, met on June 30, 2026, with the leaders of the Collectif des CFEFiens (CO-CFEF) and REFERANS to discuss several issues related to education. The discussions focused in particular on updating the Curricular Orientation Framework, aligning teachers’ salaries, regularizing their administrative status, creating the National Order of Educators of Haiti, organizing a teachers’ union forum, and setting up the Public University of the West.
