The Organization of Citizens for a New Haiti (OCNH) presented, on Monday, May 4, 2026, before a Canadian parliamentary subcommittee, an advocacy on the scale of the multidimensional crisis in Haiti. Its executive director, Me Camille Occius, welcomed Canada’s support in terms of security and justice, while calling for strengthened support for human rights, the reform of civil status and the judicial system, as well as the organization of free and inclusive elections in the country.
