The Southeast Police, through the Departmental Unit for Maintaining Order (UDMO), proceeded on April 30, 2026, with the arrest of Luivil Christelle Darbicha, 28 years old, in the locality of Dimez, in Jacmel.

The Southeast Police, through the Departmental Unit for Maintaining Order (UDMO), proceeded on April 30, 2026, with the arrest of Luivil Christelle Darbicha, 28 years old, in the locality of Dimez, in Jacmel. According to the National Police of Haiti, the suspect is accused of alleged complicity with armed gangs operating in Port-au-Prince. During her interrogation, she reportedly admitted to having maintained ties with armed individuals in the commune of Carrefour in order to obtain financial resources to meet her personal needs.
