The organization Doctors Without Borders reports having evacuated its hospital in Cité Soleil and temporarily suspended its activities, following “intense” clashes between armed groups. In 24 hours, more than 40 gunshot victims were treated and over 800 people found refuge in the facility, MSF indicates. While denouncing the insecurity that endangers caregivers and civilians in the area, the organization calls on the stakeholders to respect the neutrality of medical facilities.
