The Haitian journalist Marie Raphaëlle Pierre is participating in the Centenary Congress of the International Federation of Journalists, organized from May 4 to 7, 2026, in Paris, representing the Association of Haitian Journalists.

Originally from Kenscoff, she has been directing the news at Radio Ibo since 2011.

Marie Raphaëlle Pierre began her journalistic career in 1998 at Radio Haïti Inter. She holds a master’s degree in journalism obtained through a partnership between Quisqueya University and the Centre de Formation des Journalistes (CFPJ) in Paris.

In her appearances, the journalist talks about the difficulties faced by Haitian media in a context marked by insecurity and economic pressures.
