Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé started a tour of the southern region this Thursday, scheduled to last until August 15. Welcomed by local authorities and residents, he aims to reaffirm the authority of the state and strengthen government presence in the area, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s office. On the agenda: inaugurations of schools in Aquin, Camp-Perrin, and Petit-Goâve, as well as a meeting in Les Cayes with people from the education sector.
