Mr. Putin landed at Beijing International Airport shortly after 11:15 PM (3:15 PM GMT), where military officials were waiting to greet him.
Aged 73 and 72 respectively, Vladimir Putin and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping will discuss ways to “strengthen” the bilateral strategic partnership and “exchange their views on major international and regional issues,” according to the Russian presidency.
