The time has come to invest in Haiti’s resilience.
“The time has come to invest in Haiti’s resilience. The time has come to invest in its youth. The time has come to invest in its capacity to produce,” said the head of government, Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, during the official launch of the first National Investment Forum dedicated to the Global Gateway initiative, on Monday, June 29, 2026. The Global Gateway strategy supports efforts to build a safer, more stable, and more prosperous Haiti through structured investments in governance, security, and infrastructure, emphasized the European Union ambassador, Hélène Roos. This meeting, focused on promoting investments and strengthening partnerships for the country’s economic recovery, took place in the presence of several government members, international partners including the European Union, France, and Spain, as well as representatives from the Haitian private sector.
