The National Identification Office (ONI) held a working meeting on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, with a Japanese delegation led by Ambassador Nishuichi Kazuhiko and the Head of Cooperation Yohei Ueno.

The National Identification Office (ONI) held a working meeting on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, with a Japanese delegation led by Ambassador Nishuichi Kazuhiko and the Head of Cooperation Yohei Ueno. The discussions focused on modernizing the system, improving access to services, and strengthening ONI’s presence across the country. This meeting was also an opportunity for ONI Director General Reynold Guerrier to present the record of registrations and card issuance, as well as projects for identifying children and registering them from birth.
