Portuguese coach José Mourinho, back at Real Madrid this summer, said he’s on a ‘mission’ to recreate the club’s good ‘culture,’ on Friday at the training center ahead of the pre-season starting next week.

“I’m at a loss for words because it’s like a mission,” José Mourinho told Real Madrid TV. “I’m not worried about myself or about whether I’ll win a lot or a little.””I am here to help everyone be better, the players, the staff, etc. To create a culture of work, responsibility, ambition, and something I know well, which is the responsibility and honor of working for Real Madrid,” he continued.
José Mourinho’s appointment is seen as a move by president Florentino Pérez to restore order and discipline after a season marked by difficult ego management, like the altercation between Aurélien Tchouaméni and Federico Valverde, which ended with Valverde being taken to the hospital in May.
Neither Xabi Alonso, who was fired in January, nor Alvaro Arbeloa managed to get stars Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham, and Vinicius Junior to play together without losing balance on the field.
