The victims were killed in their homes, while trying to flee, or on the roads. The Robin community suffered the majority of the losses. At least 5,840 residents were displaced, while homes and telecommunications infrastructure were destroyed. Even though the attacks stopped on July 9, the situation remains tense, with gangs still maintaining their presence in Kenscoff.
