British Prime Minister Andy Burnham said on Friday that Gianni Infantino is “the wrong person to lead” FIFA, following the announcement of a project to open the global football governing body to private investors.

“It was a scandalous proposal. The very fact that it could even be considered shows, in my opinion, that (Gianni Infantino) is the wrong person to lead the organization,” the British government leader told journalists during a trip to Sheffield, in the north of England.
