The Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ), through the Homicide Service of the Criminal Affairs Bureau (BAC), proceeded on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, with the arrest of two young men identified as Cleeff Jean Louis and Ludelis Désir, also known as ‘Bob’, in the areas of Cassagnol 10 and 22, in Delmas 75.

According to the DCPJ, these arrests are part of the investigation into the assassination of police officer Daphney Similien Lauture, a member of the 21st promotion of the PNH and assigned to the General Security Unit of the National Palace (USGPN).
