The Minister of Public Works, Transport and Communications, Joseph Almathe Pierre‑Louis, met with the Special Representative of the Gang Suppression Force, Jack Christofides, alongside officials from Electricity of Haiti (EDH) and the National Directorate of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DINEPA).
The Minister of Public Works, Transport and Communications, Joseph Almathe Pierre‑Louis, met with the Special Representative of the Gang Suppression Force, Jack Christofides, alongside officials from the Electricity of Haiti (EDH) and the National Directorate of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DINEPA). This meeting made it possible to define the planning for the deployment of essential services (drinking water, electricity) in secure areas, with the restart of power plants and strategic sites, according to the MAST. The latter says it is committed to supporting security operations through cleaning, drainage, and rehabilitation of roadways.
