The Grenadiers will go down in the history of the Nu Stadium tomorrow night by taking part in the first international match ever played in the new Inter Miami venue, in Miami, Florida. Inaugurated last April 4 on the occasion of an MLS match between Inter Miami and Austin FC, the stadium will welcome two national teams for the first time.
The match will pit Haiti against Peru as part of the preparation of both teams for their upcoming international fixtures. After slaughtering the New Zealand team, Sébastien Migné’s charges will attempt to achieve “two victories in a row” and intimidate their World Cup opponents. The excitement surrounding the Haiti-Peru match is already palpable. According to the organizers, general admission tickets are almost all sold out. Premium seats, however, remain available for latecomers wishing to attend this historic meeting.
