Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé proceeded, on June 3, 2026, with the distribution of the ‘Ayiti nan Mondyal’ audiovisual kits to local authorities. This initiative, carried out within the framework of the Program to Support Local Authorities for the 2026 World Cup, aims to allow the populations of the 571 communal sections and 147 municipalities to follow the matches of the Haitian national team, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office. The kits notably include televisions, generators, an internet connection, and fuel. Sixteen public places across the country will also be equipped with giant screens to broadcast the tournament matches, the note states.
