The Haitian National Police (PNH) in the Southeast Department arrested two Dominican nationals, Mariano Severino Carrasco and Deivi Mora, on Thursday, June 4, 2026, in the commune of Anse-à-Pitres. According to the PNH, these individuals were wanted by authorities in Barahona, Dominican Republic, for their alleged involvement in the murder of Yoel Cuevas Medina, a Dominican citizen. The suspects are now awaiting trial, the police force stated.
